Scheduling an appointment
Jobs are booked on a first come first serve bases. If you are set on a particular day, be sure to call well in advance to assure availability. We generally have two start times, one at 9:00 am and the other between 1:00 and 3:00 pm. The exact arrival time of an afternoon appointment is based on the completion of our morning job. If you have time constraints you should schedule a morning appointment to ensure our timely arrival.
Valuation Options
Your items are protected during transport by our cargo insurance. However, there are three types of valuation options you may choose from that protect your items while we are handling them.
Basic Value Protection: Free of charge, compensation is $0.60 per pound for a damaged item.
Replacement Cost Coverage with Deductible: This option provides full value coverage less a $300 deductible. The cost is 1% of total declared value. Please note items cannot be insured individually.
Replacement Cost with No Deductible: This option provides full value coverage. The cost is 1.35% of total declared value. Again, items cannot be insured individually.
Items we are unable to transport
- Pressurized containers
- Flammable liquids
- Fireworks/matches
- Live animals
- Firearms/ ammunition
- Paints, stains, or solvents
